Yes. You can ask during pregnancy or after your baby is born. Your health plan decides if you qualify.

No. It is $0 for eligible members: if you qualify, your Medicaid health plan pays for it.
Who decides if I qualify?
Your Medicaid health plan decides, not us. We check with your plan for you and tell you the answer. We cannot promise you will qualify, but checking is free.
Will this change my Medicaid?
No. Asking for help does not change your Medicaid. We never ask for your Social Security number.
